Abstract

At the core of this investigation vibrated the desire to decipher the delicate alchemy that interweaves mind, habit and transformation. Neuroscience, in its silent murmur of synapses and impulses, revealed itself as an invisible map of the human being, translating persistence, error and beginning again. Anchored in a meticulous bibliographic review, the study covered authors and research that illuminated the reward circuits, dopamine and neural plasticity in the construction of behaviors that shape everyday life. The mission consisted in unveiling how the brain, this organ of flexible structure, responds to the gesture that repeats, to the thought that is intended and to the discipline that remains conscious. What emerged was the finding that repetition, provided it is laden with meaning and sustained by rewards that align with purpose, prompts the emergence of new synaptic connections and redraws the topography of the prefrontal cortex, the epicenter of focus, choices and the will itself.
