GREEN GUARDIAN: A TECHNOLOGICAL PROPOSAL TO HELP COMBAT INVASIVE SPECIES IN PARÁ

This study aims to propose an application capable of integrating digital technology and educational practices focused on combating invasive species in the state of Pará. It is an applied research project, with the development of an application called Green Guardian, targeting students in the 8th and 9th grades of elementary school and adult education programs. Bibliographic research was conducted to inform the choice of themes to be addressed by Green Guardian. The results indicate that the proposed application was based on the most relevant themes, organized into functionalities such as a home screen, collaborative map, educational content, and a communication channel with the Environmental Military Police, bringing together schools, communities, and institutions responsible for environmental preservation. It is concluded that Green Guardian represents an innovative strategy for integrating technology, education, and socio-environmental citizenship. Further studies are recommended to validate its practical application and investigate the impacts of the tool in school and community contexts.
