ADMINISTRAÇÃO DE PRODUÇÃO: FUNDAMENTOS TEÓRICOS, DESAFIOS CONTEMPORÂNEOS E PERSPECTIVAS ESTRATÉGICAS PARA A EFICIÊNCIA ORGANIZACIONAL

O estudo teve como objetivo analisar a Administração de produção a partir de uma abordagem teórica e crítica, enfatizando sua evolução histórica, fundamentos clássicos, desafios contemporâneos e perspetivas estratégicas para a eficiência organizacional. A pesquisa, de natureza qualitativa e carácter exploratório-descritivo, foi desenvolvida por meio de uma revisão bibliográfica integrativa, contemplando autores clássicos e contemporâneos, além de artigos indexados e relatórios técnicos. A análise consistiu na comparação crítica entre diferentes modelos e teorias, identificando suas convergências, limitações e implicações práticas. Os achados indicam que metodologias tradicionais, como Taylorismo, Fordismo e produção em massa, ainda fornecem bases conceituais, mas precisam ser reinterpretadas diante das exigências atuais. Abordagens como Seis Sigma, Produção Enxuta, Ágil e a customização em larga escala, apoiadas por tecnologias da Indústria 4.0, revelam-se essenciais para responder aos desafios de digitalização, sustentabilidade, globalização e resiliência operacional. Conclui-se que a administração de produção contemporânea exige uma gestão integrada, adaptativa e sistêmica, capaz de articular qualidade, inovação, sustentabilidade e foco no cliente. A competitividade das organizações dependerá da sua capacidade de transformar esses fundamentos em práticas estratégicas, alinhadas às novas demandas do século XXI.
