Abstract

Teenage pregnancy represents a significant challenge to public health and the well-being of young people. The Family Health Program (PSF) is a primary care model that plays a crucial role in preventing and managing this condition. The PSF offers an integrated approach to addressing teenage pregnancy. Through comprehensive sexuality education, the program promotes knowledge about contraception and early pregnancy prevention. This is done through educational activities that aim to clarify and demystify issues related to sexuality and reproductive health. Access to reproductive health services is facilitated by the PSF, ensuring that adolescents have access to contraceptive methods and adequate medical care. The proximity of services and the relationship of trust between health professionals and the community are fundamental to encouraging young people to seek guidance and support.
