This article aims to present an analysis of the scientific works published in the Annals of the Colloquium The Production of Knowledge in Professional Education, which deal with the evaluation of policies in Professional Education. Based on authors in the field of Professional Education (Moura, 2015; Ciavatta, 2023; Ferreti, 2010; among others), a study of the State of Knowledge type (Morosini; Fernandes, 2014) as a methodological conduct, under the bias of a qualitative approach. As a result, the importance and need for the process of evaluating policies in Professional Education was ratified, with a view to a critical reflection on the interrelationship between education and work, considering the complex nuances emerging from this dynamic, especially in the light of the social reconfigurations that have manifested themselves over the years.
