THE BRAZILIAN PUBLIC INNOVATION ECOSYSTEM: A RECENT BIBLIOMETRIC ANALYSIS (2021–2025)

This study addresses recent scientific production on open innovation and innovation labs in the Brazilian public sector. The central problem is to organize the themes, approaches, and trends that structure this field of research, characterized by accelerated growth and conceptual heterogeneity. The objective was to map the literature published between 2021 and 2025, identify thematic cores, and delineate analytical categories that allow us to understand how the concepts have been developed. The methodology combined systematized search procedures in indexed databases, application of inclusion and exclusion criteria, normalization of records, and bibliometric analysis focused on keywords, articulated with a qualitative reading of the selected studies. It was observed that the identified production is concentrated in eight studies that address innovation in the public sector, innovation labs, and collaborative dynamics. The analysis of the keywords reveals three main cores: public innovation, innovation labs, and governance. The results indicate a field in consolidation, with gaps related to conceptual standardization, evaluation, and institutionalization, and point to the need to extend the analyzed period and incorporate additional sources in future research.
