This article proposes an interdisciplinary analysis of the intersection between Restorative Justice and the challenge of diversity in contemporary societies. Drawing on Carla Boin’s theoretical contributions on Restorative Justice as a vector for humanizing the justice system and Sérgio Bairon’s work on interdisciplinarity and cultural complexity, it is argued that restorative practices, when informed by deep cultural sensitivity, transcend mere conflict resolution. They become a powerful pedagogical and political tool for strengthening social cohesion, valuing differences, and building more inclusive citizenship. The analysis explores the potentialities and challenges of this articulation, focusing on its practical applications and the structural transformations necessary for its effective implementation. The work concludes that Restorative Justice, informed by the cultural sensitivity that interdisciplinarity provides, offers a promising path for societies seeking to reconcile justice, diversity, and social cohesion.
