The overall objective was to analyze the relevance of continuing education for teachers, highlighting how it contributes to the adoption of innovative methodologies and the use of educational technologies. The methodology used was a bibliographic research, based on academic sources and studies already published on the subject. In the development, the role of continuing education in the adaptation of teachers to new active methodologies and the use of technologies was highlighted, showing that continuous training provides a dynamic and effective pedagogical practice.
