FÓRMULAS INFANTIS VS. LEITE MATERNO: ANÁLISE DA COMPOSIÇÃO E BENEFÍCIOS

Resumo

O aleitamento materno é padrão ouro de alimentação para recém-nascidos, sendo essencial até os seis meses de forma exclusiva e complementar até os dois anos. O leite materno fornece todos os nutrientes e anticorpos necessários para o desenvolvimento saudável do bebê. Mesmo assim algumas mães optam por fórmulas infantis devido a questões emocionais, financeiras e falta de apoio profissional. As fórmulas são projetadas para imitar a composição do leite humano, mas as diferenças em seus efeitos sobre a saúde infantil são significativas. Este estudo revisa a literatura recente sobre a composição das fórmulas infantis, destacando a importância de entender suas limitações em comparação ao leite materno, especialmente em relação à microbiota intestinal e ao desenvolvimento imunológico. Porém, entre as fórmulas e o leite humano ainda existem uma série de divergências quanto a composição de ingredientes, ácidos graxos, probióticos e oligossacarídeos, o que impacta diretamente na saúde e desenvolvimento do recém-nascido e repercutem por toda sua vida. Apesar dos avanços tecnológicos, o leite humano permanece insubstituível, levando à investigação de alternativas como o leite humano liofilizado em pó.
