ATUAÇÃO DO ENFERMEIRO NA OBESIDADE INFANTIL: REVISÃO INTEGRATIVA

Introdução: A obesidade infantil é uma grave questão de saúde pública, com uma prevalência crescente globalmente. Em 2022, cerca de 39 milhões de crianças menores de 5 anos estavam obesas ou com sobrepeso. Para combater a obesidade infantil, são necessárias intervenções que promovam mudanças no comportamento alimentar, aumentem a atividade física e melhorem os ambientes alimentares. Estratégias que envolvem escolas, famílias e políticas públicas têm mostrado melhores resultados. Objetivo: analisar as evidências científicas acerca das estratégias de intervenções voltadas para a enfermagem frente à obesidade infantil nos serviços de saúde. Método: revisão integrativa que foram conduzidas nas bases US National Library of Medicine (PubMed); Web of Science e Elton B. Stephens Company (EBSCO), com limitação do ano de publicação de no máximo 5 anos, seguindo a ferramenta PRISMA. Definiu-se como população crianças e adolescentes com obesidade. Resultados: Foram incluídos 10 artigos que contemplavam a importância da atuação do enfermeiro na obesidade infantil. Conclusão: Os achados deste estudo evidenciaram que o enfermeiro tem papel central na prevenção e promoção de hábitos saudáveis, sendo essencial investir em sua capacitação para melhorar os cuidados e reduzir a incidência da obesidade infantil.
