The use of digital technologies has significantly transformed nursing practice, impacting both direct patient care and management and professional training. This study, through an integrative literature review, aimed to identify and analyze the main evidence available on the application of digital technologies in nursing care. Articles published between 2006 and 2024 were included, extracted from databases such as SciELO, PubMed, LILACS, and CINAHL. The results demonstrate that tools such as electronic medical records, tele-nursing, mobile applications, sensors, and virtual reality have contributed to greater efficiency, safety, and personalization of care, in addition to enhancing health education. However, challenges such as resistance from professionals, gaps in digital training, and ethical risks related to privacy and dehumanization of care still persist. It is concluded that, although promising, digital technologies must be integrated critically, respecting the principles of humanization and professional ethics, and accompanied by continuous training of nursing professionals.
