Abstract

This study analyzes business model validation in emerging economies, focusing on premium burger restaurants, considering that consolidation in this segment depends on coherence between the value proposition, operational execution, and economic-financial sustainability. The investigation adopts a bibliographic review approach, structured to interpret how premium differentiation is built and confirmed in the market, especially amid the gourmetization phenomenon and the competitive growth of artisan burger restaurants. The results indicate that validation occurs when the premium promise is translated into sensory consistency, process standardization, and alignment between communication and delivery, reducing mismatches that undermine reputation and repeat purchase. Planning and feasibility analysis emerge as central, since higher costs linked to input quality and service requirements put pressure on margins and demand compatible pricing, waste control, and continuous reading of the competitive environment. It is also observed that digital channels and delivery directly affect perceived value and profitability, making logistics, packaging, and delivery time components of the product itself. The study concludes that business model validation in premium burger restaurants depends on integrating strategy, operations, marketing, and finance, so that market acceptance and economic viability are confirmed as inseparable dimensions of consolidation and expansion potential.
