Abstract

This study investigates the Professional & Self Coaching model as a human development practice, exploring its historical origins, conceptual foundations, tools used, and observed impacts in different contexts. The exploratory and descriptive research was conducted through a literature review and document analysis, with an emphasis on systematizing practices and identifying contributions. The results show that the session structure, based on building rapport, trust, and the application of reflective questions, is strengthened by the use of tools such as the Wheel of Life, 360-Degree Feedback, Logbook, and Shazan, which translate abstract concepts into practical experiences and foster the coachee's active participation. The analysis shows that coaching has a broad scope of action, encompassing personal areas such as family, relationships, health, and spirituality, and professional areas such as career, leadership, sales, and teams, confirming its adaptability to multiple scenarios. Experiences reported in pedagogical practices such as Cinema Coaching and Peer Coaching demonstrate effectiveness in stimulating self-reflection and experiential learning, although they require further scientific validation to consolidate academic legitimacy. The conclusion is that the Professional & Self Coaching model contributes to comprehensive development by combining structured techniques and subjective dimensions, but it has limitations related to the need for empirical and comparative research to confirm its long-term effectiveness.
