Abstract

This study presents an integrative review on the use of immersive technologies and sensory experiences in corporate events, focusing on practical applications, impacts, and limitations. The research analyzed studies published between 2021 and 2024, considering approaches that combine virtual, augmented, and mixed reality with sensory stimuli such as touch, smell, and temperature. The findings indicate that these technologies enhance the sense of presence, increase audience engagement, and strengthen affective memory in brand experiences. It was also observed that the congruence between sensory stimuli and presented content fosters positive behaviors, such as the adoption of sustainable practices and stronger connections with brands. Despite the benefits, significant challenges were identified, particularly concerning accessibility, sensory data security, and cognitive fatigue. The discussion highlights the need for ethical, inclusive, and regulated strategies to ensure the effective integration of these technologies in corporate settings. It is concluded that sensory integration in immersive environments represents not only a competitive advantage but also a fertile ground for strategic and human-centered innovation in the event industry.
