Abstract

This study discusses the integration between financial education and business management as an essential formative axis for building sustainable and citizen-oriented organizational cultures. The aim was to analyze, based on recent literature, how financial education can be connected to management practices from basic education to the corporate environment, contributing to more conscious decision-making, increased productivity, and greater individual autonomy. The research adopted a qualitative bibliographic approach, analyzing ten articles published between 2021 and 2023, selected based on thematic relevance, methodological diversity, and coverage of target audiences (elementary, secondary, youth and adult education, higher education, and business sector). The results show that when financial education is treated in a spiral, cross-cutting, and contextualized manner, it significantly enhances analytical capacity, reduces managerial failures, and promotes a culture of planning. Furthermore, innovative pedagogical practices such as digital games and behavioral finance have shown potential to engage different learner profiles, including within companies. It is concluded that financial education should be continuous, critical, and articulated among schools, the public sector, and private enterprise, with the educator-researcher playing a key role in bridging theory and practice and addressing financial exclusion.
