Abstract

This study presents an integrative literature review from 2018 to 2022 aiming to investigate the impact of physical discipline on executive leadership and organizational performance, by analyzing empirical evidence and theoretical frameworks connecting bodily habits to leadership effectiveness. The research encompasses both qualitative and quantitative studies, focusing on variables such as self-leadership, self-regulation, leadership styles, and objective performance indicators such as return on assets and strategic execution. The findings indicate that consistent physical practices are associated with enhanced focus, resilience, decision-making capacity, and emotional stability in leaders, which translate into superior financial outcomes in organizations led by behaviorally disciplined executives. The study concludes that physical discipline acts as a mediating variable between individual traits and organizational outcomes, supporting its inclusion in leadership development and recruitment strategies. It also highlights the need for longitudinal studies and integration of leadership assessment tools with objective measures of physical well-being.
