INFLUENCIA DE LOS FACTORES GENÉTICOS EN LA SALUD MENTAL

Resumen

La salud mental y el comportamiento humano tienen una etiología multifactorial, influenciada por las experiencias individuales y la interacción entre factores genéticos y ambientales. Estudios indican que esta interacción juega un papel significativo en el riesgo de trastornos como la ansiedad, la depresión y el trastorno obsesivo-compulsivo. La variabilidad genética puede aumentar la vulnerabilidad individual a las influencias ambientales, lo que resalta la importancia de la investigación que amplía la comprensión de estos trastornos mentales y brinda apoyo a las estrategias de salud pública. Por lo tanto, el conocimiento científico, combinado con enfoques multidisciplinarios, es esencial para promover el bienestar de manera personalizada y efectiva. Por lo tanto, se realizó una revisión bibliográfica integradora, con un análisis crítico de los estudios seleccionados, con el objetivo de profundizar en la comprensión del tema y destacar la influencia de los factores genéticos en la salud mental. Para comprender cómo la expresión génica puede impactar el comportamiento humano, se destacó la importancia de la interacción entre factores genéticos y ambientales en la determinación de aspectos conductuales. Este estudio contribuyó a la identificación de genes asociados con el comportamiento y la salud mental. Se analizó la evidencia para profundizar en el tema, presentando genes y fenotipos con sus correspondientes alteraciones, como los genes DRD4, MAOA y CSMD1, asociados con el funcionamiento cognitivo y conductual.
