Abstract

Digital media play a significant role in online education, transforming the way knowledge is transmitted and assimilated. The choice of this theme is justified by the need to understand how audiovisual language and collaborative tools influence the learning process. The main objective of this study is to analyze the impact of these media on online education, evaluating their contributions and challenges. The methodology adopted is bibliographic in nature, utilizing academic sources and research reports to support the analysis. The main results indicate that the use of audiovisual resources enriches the learning experience, promoting greater engagement and motivation among students. Additionally, collaborative tools facilitate interaction and teamwork, essential for the development of skills in the digital environment. The most relevant conclusions point out that, although digital media offer valuable opportunities, they also present challenges, such as the need for adequate training for educators and the management of students' screen time exposure. This study contributes to the discussion on the integration of digital media in education, highlighting the importance of pedagogical strategies that consider the specificities of the online environment.
