This article addresses the organizational processes of multidisciplinary management in Public Health, analyzing how institutional structures, leadership models, and forms of work organization influence the integration of professional practices and the production of care. It starts from the understanding that multiprofessionalism constitutes an essential condition for the effective implementation of comprehensiveness in the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS), although its realization is frequently limited by fragmented organizational arrangements and hierarchies that hinder cooperation between different areas of expertise. The study was developed through a qualitative literature review, encompassing classic works and contemporary scientific productions on health management, teamwork, and Primary Care, allowing the construction of an articulated theoretical analysis of the main organizational determinants of interprofessional practice. The results indicate that the effectiveness of multidisciplinary management fundamentally depends on the presence of structured processes of communication, role definition, care coordination, and collective participation in decisions, which contribute to the reduction of conflicts, the strengthening of bonds between professionals, and greater continuity of care. It is concluded that the consolidation of management models capable of supporting cooperation between different areas of knowledge represents a strategic element for improving the quality, equity, and effectiveness of Public Health services within the public health system.
