This study aims to analyze the impact of multimedia resources on the teaching-learning process, highlighting their contributions, the challenges faced by teachers and students, and how these technologies can be effectively integrated into pedagogical practices. The methodology used is bibliographical in nature, based on a literature review that addresses the use of multimedia in education, highlighting studies and research that examine the effectiveness of these tools in the educational context. The adoption of multimedia technologies in teaching offers great benefits, such as increased student engagement and the diversification of pedagogical strategies. However, for the use of these technologies to be truly effective, they must be aligned with learning objectives and implemented in a planned and intentional manner, ensuring that they function as a complement to the educational process, rather than as a substitute for the teacher's role.
