AFRO-BRAZILIAN: A STUDY ON AFRICAN LINGUISTIC INFLUENCES AND THEIR IMPACTS ON THE LANGUAGE OF "BRAZILIAN PORTUGUESE"

This paper will address some aspects of the Brazilian narrative intertwined with African history in Brazil in order to understand some themes, such as: the general objective, to explain the Afro-Brazilian chronology and the linguistic impact suffered by Brazilian Portuguese through African languages. The specific objectives are to investigate Brazilian memory linked to African memory, to conceptualize what Afro-Brazilian is, linguistics, the Brazilian Portuguese language, and finally, to bring to light, through bibliographic studies, the impacts that the Brazilian Portuguese language suffered from African languages. The methodology applied in this work was bibliographic studies extracted from websites and books. Our results were some words and the use of some sentences that are now present in our vocabularies due to the African dialect having penetrated the Brazilian language.
