The aim of this study was to describe the process of translation and cross-cultural adaptation of the Brazilian version of the Overall Neuropathy Limitations Scale (ONLS) to the General Scale of Neuropathic Limitations (EGLN) into Brazilian Portuguese. The translated version of the ONLS was applied in a pilot sample with 30 patients in person and then an expanded sample was carried out with 100 patients where 81.0% of the scale was applied remotely and (Teleconference), and 19.0% of the scale were applied face-to-face. The participating patients were 60.0% male and 40.0% female. Cronbach's alpha for the pilot sample of the upper limb was 0.77, for the lower limbs it was 0.49. Enlarged sample with 100 patients for upper limbs was 0.68, and for lower limbs it was 0.34.
