This work is the development of a line follower robot and the analysis of its behavior in two configurations, so that both have the ability to follow the trajectory of black line shape in a different background colors and different lighting environments and surface, in an automatic way for various uses. For this we will use DC motors for robot mobility, and a microcontroller to control all process variables. In robot guidance system used is a resistor that changes its resistance with light and a light sensor with digital output, commonly used in robots line followers. The black surfaces have the property of absorbing radiation of all wavelengths in the visible range while the clear surfaces have opposite properties, and this is the basis of the vehicle orientation. This work is the comparative analysis of the behavior of a follower robot line with digital sensor and analog sensor, the first made for line detection, and another made from electronic components.
