CONECTANDO HOMENS AOS CUIDADOS EM SAÚDE: LACUNAS ATUAIS E CAMINHOS PARA A INOVAÇÃO COM FERRAMENTAS TECNOLÓGICAS

Resumo

A saúde masculina no Brasil enfrenta altas taxas de morbimortalidade em comparação com as mulheres e exacerbadas por uma baixa procura por serviços de saúde devido a estereótipos de masculinidade e falhas sistêmicas. Condições urológicas como LUTS, disfunção erétil, infertilidade, ITUs e diversos cânceres (próstata, pênis, bexiga, testículo) são prevalentes e, frequentemente, com diagnósticos tardios. Este estudo buscou mapear o estado da arte de aplicativos em saúde urológica masculina para identificar lacunas e subsidiar o desenvolvimento de um produto tecnológico focado na experiência do usuário, promovendo a autotriagem diagnóstica e facilitando o acesso a especialistas. Realizou-se um estudo de mapeamento sistemático de 2019 a 2024, segundo Petersen et al. As fontes incluíram SCOPUS, PUBMED, bases de patentes (INPI, PATENTSCOPE, SPB, SPACENET) e lojas de aplicativos (App Store, Play Store). Foram analisados 40 artigos e/ou produtos tecnológicos relevantes. A saúde masculina brasileira é marcada por alta mortalidade e prevalência de doenças urológicas com barreiras socioculturais e falhas sistêmicas que atrasam diagnósticos. Existem ferramentas digitais de autoavaliação gerais (ex: Ada Health), mas uma aplicação abrangente de autotriagem diagnóstica, especificamente para condições urológicas masculinas, é uma lacuna notável. Verificadores de sintomas on-line (OSCs) demonstraram potencial como ferramentas de triagem e apoio à decisão capazes de gerar múltiplas hipóteses diagnósticas (alta acurácia no Top 5) e orientar a busca por ajuda profissional. A implementação da IA em Urologia ainda enfrenta obstáculos de controle de qualidade e validação. Os desafios na saúde urológica masculina exigem intervenções inovadoras. O desenvolvimento de uma ferramenta computacional centrada no usuário para autotriagem urológica masculina é crucial para reduzir barreiras de acesso, desconstruir estereótipos e catalisar o diagnóstico precoce e o encaminhamento especializado, melhorando a qualidade de vida dos homens.
