INTERVENCIONES PARA LA REDUCCIÓN DE LA SOBRECARGA PARENTAL EN CUIDADORES DE NIÑOS CON TRASTORNOS DEL NEURODESARROLLO: REVISIÓN SISTEMÁTICA

El cuidado de niños con trastornos del neurodesarrollo impone desafíos que con frecuencia resultan en una sobrecarga física y emocional para los cuidadores. Este estudio tuvo como objetivo identificar las intervenciones dirigidas a reducir la sobrecarga parental en cuidadores de niños con trastornos del neurodesarrollo. Se trata de una revisión sistemática de la literatura, realizada en las bases de datos PubMed, SciELO, LILACS y PEDro, que incluyó ensayos clínicos aleatorizados publicados entre 2021 y 2025. La calidad metodológica de los artículos fue evaluada mediante la Escala PEDro, y los resultados fueron sintetizados de forma descriptiva. Los estudios demostraron reducciones en los niveles de estrés, ansiedad y depresión, además de mejoras en la autoeficacia y en la calidad de vida de los cuidadores. Se concluye que las intervenciones resultan eficaces en la mitigación de la sobrecarga parental y refuerzan la necesidad de una mayor participación multiprofesional en el desarrollo de estrategias de apoyo al cuidador.
