Abstract

In contemporary organizational environments, emotional leadership stands out as a key factor for team success and employee well-being. This study, developed through a qualitative literature review, investigates the impact of emotional intelligence on people management, analyzing strategies that leaders can adopt to promote a healthy and productive work environment. Based on the theoretical contributions of authors such as Moreira (2017) and Longhi (2016), it was demonstrated that a leader's ability to recognize, understand, and manage emotions directly influences team performance and the quality of interpersonal relationships. The results indicate that practices based on empathy, assertive communication, and professional recognition contribute to increased employee motivation and satisfaction, strengthening the organizational culture. It is concluded that developing emotional intelligence in managers is an effective strategy for building more harmonious and sustainable corporate environments.
