Abstract

Orofacial trauma can injure not only the teeth, but also the periodontium and adjacent soft tissues, and is a very common trauma in our society. The purpose of this study is to present an aesthetic and functional rehabilitation of tooth 11, with a coronal fracture of enamel and dentin, using the direct restorative technique, with the aid of a silicone guide, in a deficient restoration resulting from treatment performed more than forty years ago, due to trauma resulting from a fall. A literature review was performed to support the steps for carrying out this clinical case. The aesthetic and functional result was well accepted by the patient and his follow-up has completed two years.
