The professional beauty sector has experienced significant growth in recent decades, accompanied by an increasing appreciation for technical qualification and the need to adapt to market transformations. In this context, the present study aimed to analyze how specialized technical knowledge contributes to business expansion in professional beauty, considering the relationships between education, innovation, business strategies, and changes in consumer behavior. The research was characterized as a qualitative study, developed through a bibliographic analysis of scientific publications related to the topic, allowing for the identification of factors that influence the consolidation and growth of enterprises in the sector. There has also been a growing demand for corrective services, associated with the work of professionals lacking adequate technical training, reinforcing the importance of specialized qualification for the sustainability of the sector. The results showed that continuous updating, mastery of techniques, and the incorporation of new knowledge contribute to improving service quality, increasing customer loyalty, and expanding professional opportunities. It was also found that the integration of technical competence, strategic planning, and an understanding of market trends constitutes a determining factor for sustainability and business expansion in the beauty industry. It is concluded that specialized technical knowledge plays a relevant role in strengthening professional performance and business development, establishing itself as one of the main factors associated with sustainable growth in the sector.
