THE FABLE GENRE IN A SUBJECT WITH A MILD COGNITIVE DEFICIT

Objective: Based on the assumption that linguistic activity is constitutive of the subject, this study seeks to analyze the discursive genre "fable" in a subject with dementia and mild cognitive impairment. Methods: A cross-sectional analysis was conducted of the case of a subject with Multiple Sclerosis who presented pragmatic difficulties, developing work with the fable genre during the therapeutic process. Results: The research subject presented pragmatic difficulties during the therapeutic process, with the main complaint being difficulty understanding his role as enunciator. However, over the course of treatment, understanding emerged, leading to some changes as an enunciator. Conclusion: The therapeutic process with this textual genre was of fundamental importance, as it allowed the subject to understand his enunciative role within a discursive situation.
