This narrative review aims to analyze the essentiality of multidisciplinary work in the consolidation of expanded care in collective health, with an emphasis on networked action in the context of the Unified Health System. Based on the articulation between different theoretical sources, technical documents and academic research, the need to overcome the fragmented and verticalized logic of care practices is discussed, proposing the valorization of institutional devices such as matrix support, territorialization of care and Expanded Family Health Centers. It is evident that the implementation of comprehensive care requires not only organizational arrangements that favor interdisciplinarity, but also investments in the critical training of professionals and in participatory management. It is concluded that multidisciplinary work, when structured based on cooperative links and guided by the concrete needs of the territories, constitutes a fundamental pillar for the construction of problem-solving, equitable and humanized care networks.
