A 39-year-old male patient with no history of systemic diseases sought private practice complaining of pain in tooth 21 after dental trauma. The tooth did not respond to the pulp sensitivity test. After anesthesia, the tooth was isolated and the coronal access was performed using a 1013 diamond bur. Irrigation was performed with 2.5% sodium hypochlorite. The canal was prepared with a Solla Collors #70.03 file with in and out movements throughout the entire length of the root canal until reaching the established working length. Foraminal patency, extending 1 mm beyond the exit of the apical foramen, was performed with a Solla Collors 16/02 Glide Path file. Obturation was performed using the single cone technique associated with AHPlus Jet cement. It is concluded that the Solla Collors rotary file determined an efficient formatting and modeling of the root canal system.
