A 43-year-old female patient, classified as ASA I, was referred to the private office of an endodontist. During clinical examination, pain was observed on vertical and horizontal percussion. Radiographically, periapical bone radiolucency was observed in teeth 11-12-21 and 22. The therapeutic modality for the case was conventional endodontic retreatment. The root canal was unobturated with a Solla Files Collors #R2 Reciprocating file. Foraminal patency was achieved with #16.02 files and the canal was reprepared with a Solla Files Collors #R40 Reciprocating File, determining an appropriate enlargement and modeling for the anatomy of the canal. The root canal system was filled using the single cone technique, combined with BIO-C Sealer cement. Clinical and radiographic follow-up was performed one year after the root canal filling, showing repair of the periapical bone radiolucency of the teeth.
