Abstract

This article presents the development and analysis of a lighting and electrical design project for a single-family residence, based on real architectural layout data and technical spreadsheets. The work includes the survey of electrical loads, the dimensioning of circuits, the selection of conductor cross-sections, the specification of protective devices, and the calculation of artificial lighting levels in each room. Using technical criteria and guidelines from institutions such as PROCEL, INMETRO, and Eletrobras, the results achieved combine energy efficiency, safety, and functionality. The resulting project meets the recommended illuminance levels for each environment, ensures energy savings through the use of LED lighting fixtures, and guarantees protection with residual-current devices and properly rated circuit breakers. It is concluded that the project fully meets technical standards and contributes to the quality and safety of residential electrical installations.
