This study described the preparation of the root canal of the lower left second molar with a rotating Lima Solla Purple file. A 36-year-old male patient with no history of systemic diseases was referred to a private practice. Clinically, he was asymptomatic and had a negative response to the cold pulp sensitivity test performed with refrigerant gas. Radiographically, he had periapical bone radiotransparency. After anesthesia, the coronal opening and root canal exploration were performed. The working length was determined with an apical locator, followed by gentle irrigation with 2% chlorhexidine. The canal was prepared with 35.04 Solla Purple rotary files in the mesiobuccal and mesolingual canals and 40.04 in the distal canal, and the foraminal patency was performed with the Glidepath Solla Collors 16/02 file, one millimeter beyond the apical foramen. The canal system was filled using the single cone technique, combined with Bio C Sealer cement. It is concluded that endodontic therapy is successful when the diagnosis is made correctly, the preparation is adequate, the filling is hermetic, and the coronary access is definitively sealed.
