This pre-project aims to analyze the factors that influence the effectiveness and duration of botulinum toxin type A in facial aesthetics. Botulinum toxin is widely used in minimally invasive aesthetic procedures and is recognized for its ability to promote muscle relaxation and reduce expression lines. However, the duration of its effects may vary according to factors such as application technique, dosage, individual patient characteristics, and lifestyle habits. This is a qualitative research developed through a bibliographic review, based on scientific articles available in databases such as SciELO, PubMed, and Google Scholar. It is expected that this study will contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of aesthetic biomedicine, highlighting the importance of professional qualification to achieve safe and effective results.
