RUN FAR: MENTAL HEALTH AND THE PROMOTION OF PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL HEALTH

This article presents a public opinion survey that aimed to evaluate the perception of the contribution to mental health made possible by the Corre FAR Night Neon event, held by the Centro de Ensino Superior Almeida Rodrigues Ltda (FAR), located at Rua Quinca Honório Leão, 1030, Setor Morada do Sol, Rio Verde – Goiás. This action was developed by students of the Occupational Therapy course, and within the scope of extension activities in the General Psychology discipline, the execution of this action arose. Therefore, the research has a qualitative character, with a theoretical-methodological orientation based on Discursive Social Psychology (PSD), as referenced in Rasera (2013). Furthermore, through the investigation, it was measured that events such as Corre FAR contribute to the process of physical and mental health.
