Postpartum women seek rapid and effective abdominal rehabilitation due to the separation between the rectus abdominis muscles, known as inter-recti distance (IRD) during pregnancy. This is a common condition that occurs when the uterus enlarges and the woman's biomechanics change due to the stretching and thinning of the linea alba, leading to functional instability in various systems. The present study aimed to evaluate a high-intensity focused electromagnetic (HIFEM) device, combined with phase 1 of the postpartum restructuring method (PRM). A field, interventional, and prospective study was conducted using a quantitative approach. Nine patients in the postnatal period were analyzed with an initial evaluation and a follow-up evaluation, which included photos in frontal and oblique postures; a clinical IRD test; abdominal girth measurement; ultrasound examination; and bioimpedance. The treatment consisted of ten sessions, twice a week, each lasting forty minutes each with phase 1 of RPP associated with the high-intensity electromagnetic field device, SUPRAMÁXIMUS SHE-MSP003 – Adoxy®. The research was approved by the CEP/UFC. The results showed that in the comparative analysis of average thickness, DIR presented a statistically significant reduction (**p<0.01) at the umbilical level; in the rectus abdominis, the upper and lower portions of the right and left sides showed a statistically significant increase (*p<0.05). The analysis of abdominal circumferential measurements revealed statistically significant variations (*p<0.05) in the lower abdomen measurements. Thus, it is concluded that HIFEM associated with phase 1 of RPP should be included in therapies for abdominal diastasis.
