WEB-BASED SYSTEM FOR PREDICTING RICE BLAST (BRUSONE) IN RICE PLANTS

Abstract

Brusone is the main disease affecting rice, causing losses in the crop and consequent damage to the producer. For the responsible technician or producer to take actions to protect the crop, there is a system that issues alerts about the appearance of brusone, called Infobrusone. This system calculates the risk of the occurrence of brusone and shows the producer the likelihood of the disease appearing, given the climatic conditions. This work describes how the formula for the risk of brusone occurrence was calculated and presents the Infobrusone system, which displays on a map, for each city in the State of Goiás, the probability of brusone occurring in rice crops.
