FATORES ASSOCIADOS AO COMPORTAMENTO CONTROLADOR DO PARCEIRO

O comportamento controlador do parceiro inclui atos como inibir o contato da mulher com amigos e parentes. Este estudo transversal, descritivo e analítico, foi realizado na Unidade Neonatal de um Hospital Universitário no Nordeste do Brasil. A coleta de dados foi realizada por meio de entrevistas com as mulheres durante o internamento no pós-parto. Foram avaliadas condições socioeconômicas, dados do pré-natal e parto e problemas na saúde física e mental durante a gestação. Para avaliar a saúde mental, foi aplicado o Self-Reporting Questionnaire-20 (SRQ-20). O comportamento controlador do parceiro (CCP) foi avaliado pelo questionário sobre perfil do relacionamento entre os parceiros. Foram entrevistadas 256 puérperas, dentre as quais 37,1% referiram CCP, sendo mais frequente entre as adolescentes (9,3% vs. 17,9%; p=0,045), as solteiras (47,2% vs. 67,4%; p=0,002), as que tiveram pré-eclâmpsia (18,6% vs. 29,5%; p=0,045) e naquelas com suspeita de transtornos mentais comuns (43,5% vs. 61,1%; p=0,007). A prevalência de algum tipo de violência pelo parceiro íntimo (psicológica, física e/ou sexual) na gravidez foi 15,2% e na vida foi 38,6%. Os fatores associados ao CCP, com uma chance cerca de duas vezes maior foram: ser solteira, uso de algum tipo de substância na gravidez e brigas frequentes entre o casal. Essa chance foi quase quatro vezes maior quando a mulher referiu violência pelo parceiro íntimo (VPI) na gravidez e na vida. O comportamento controlador pode ser um preditor de VPI, identificá-lo precocemente possibilita a elaboração de estratégias de intervenção para mitigar as consequências para a saúde física e mental materna.
