This study used metabolomics and mass spectrometry to differentiate Baccharis trimera from Baccharis crispa, identifying key chemical profiles and molecular networks, particularly in flavonoid compounds. The findings highlight the potential for improved quality control of B. trimera through further dereplication of uncharacterized compounds.
